I was thinking the other day from the mindset of the aesthetic consumer, trying to put myself in their place when evaluating what one would consider a near-to-perfect aesthetic experience. I use the term near-to-perfect because I believe that each client / patient draws their own conclusions as to what they consider the “best” by far, unsurpassed treatment. I am certain, some of you will take offense to some of my perspectives and, most likely, will think I have missed many opportunities to list others. That being said, I invite you to add to this list your interpretations which can be included as comments.
The Near-to-Perfect Aesthetic Experience Defined:
- A sensibly conscious treatment provider
- Treatments based on the use of pure product formulations
- Without exception the best of the best plans for post-treatment follow-up care
- Soft background music that brings about peace and pleasure to the mind
- An aesthetic care giver with a warm, compassionate and most of all, loving touch
- A treatment performed by a beauty expert who is deeply committed to the art and science of aesthetics
- Access to an aesthetic practitioner who is knowledgeable in several areas of practice proficiency
- An aesthetic experience that leaves a client/patient with a gratifying conclusion – meaning that he or she leaves the establishment feeling that he or she has received full-value for their money spent
- An aesthetic environment that stimulates the imagination and provides an escape from the “real” world and all of its stressors
- A calm refuge from the hectic pressures of the day that puts a person into a relaxed body state and they can let go of all the prevailing tensions they brought into the space
- A place where one’s negative feelings could quickly be absorbed and a person’s energy could be immediately re-directed to a happier place
- A place that reminds a client / patient about some of the magnificent joys in life
- No faults in the administered aesthetic techniques received
- A team of collaborators with no competitive attitudes only a willingness to work together to produce the best aesthetic results possible for the clients / patients
- Access to a professional that has the ability to transform a person’s presentation and to share their secrets so that clients / patients can maintain the outstanding results
- An exciting treatment approach that is so new and different that the client / patient cannot wait to communicate to co-workers, acquaintances, friends and family members
- An aesthetic encounter that leaves a person feeling so good about their decision to engage in the therapeutic experience that they instantly commit to a series of appointments afterward
- An opportunity to have a hygienic skin treatment that leaves the skin free of all cellular debris
- A rare instance where one walks in the door and everyone and everything is set-up and ready to go with no waiting time involved
- A situation where the aesthetic provider fully concentrates on the treatment because he or she truly understands the meaning of the words attention, concentration and focus
- A portion of the proceeds from the treatment is awarded to a charitable cause that uses 100% of its donations to achieve its purpose which is in concert with the clients / patient’s beliefs

- Friendly and courteous considerations made by a charismatic staff whose intention is to please clients / patients and make their visit immensely memorable
- A place that offers an endless variety of anti-aging applications
- A thorough explanation offered of produce usage
- Records of treatments conscientiously kept with details of marked improvement or notations made regarding lack of it to ensure steady progression
- Superior knowledge of make-up artistry combined with an innate talent to bring out the hidden beauty that lies just beneath the exterior surface of a person that is in sync with their outer personality
- Adherence to safety precautions
- A place where prideful professionals truly care and continue to update their skills on a routine basis and using their extensive knowledge consistently deliver the very best of aesthetic healing modalities
One Final Thought on the Subject:
As previously stated, it was only from my imagination that I created this list of the near-to-perfect aesthetic experiences. I do not think by any means that it is anywhere near complete and I am sure you will agree. I hope you will read it and add your opinions to it.
