Birthdays should be a time when we remind ourselves that we are special!

Our birthday is one of those rare occasions when we can really indulge our fantasies and treat ourselves to things that we ordinarily would never consider enjoying. 

It is the one day, out of 365 days, when we can give ourselves our undivided attention without anyone accusing us of being narcissistic. 

If we think about it, there is nothing that is as meaningful as the day we were given life, when we first came into the world. 

It is the remembrance of this very special moment that deserves to be acknowledged.

There are many ways to commemorate our birthday.

 We can be surrounded by family and friends or be completely alone. 

All that really matters is that we stop and honor ourselves in a very respectful way.

Birthdays aren’t about getting older, they are all about getting better.

Aging is a blessing, especially, when we consider the alternative.
