The aim of any action toward self-growth and fulfillment is to be present in our probability of potential and the advancement of the purification of our character. Learning to respect and appreciate our talents and gifts in the spirit by which they have been awarded to us and at the same time, involving ourselves in self-centered education for the explicit purpose of recycling our knowledge and skill set by re-directing it toward the greater good of our communities in order to be more useful to society.
Our here-and-now effectiveness is dependent on our enlivening our current capabilities (emotionally, intellectually, inter-personally and spiritually). There is a movement underway toward self-aliveness that is just beginning to gain momentum. It encourages the strengthening of personal attributes while diminishing our negative feelings. It requires us to view ourselves in whole new terms by concentrating on what we are capable of being and breaking away from the tyranny of the old, worn out version of our inferior selves of our past.
Determining our strengths and apply them toward the attainment of our goals is the rule of the day. It distinguishes the previous way of living in which we merely existed from today which is far from a monotonous existence of the past.
As we awaken what is alive in us we begin to take stock of our particular indispensable qualities and how we can express them in such a way that they bring benefit to others. By doing this we create a different dynamic in leadership, one that can be geared to inspire the vast majority. Personal leadership growth acquaints us with a sense of our own accountability for taking up space on the planet and reminds us of our obligation to our families, our companions, professional comrades, society, nature, and the land, in general, the grand scheme of things. There is simply no telling of what could come out of a reassessment of our individual identities if we were to re-discover who we are in terms of what we can become as one.
