Hindu teachings stress that when someone conspires to do mean and ugly things to someone else they begin a cycle that slowly starts to tarnish the spiritual beauty of their soul.
Basically, the evil they do (deception = confusion =mistrust =fear) contaminates their being and increases the tendency for the person who has acted unfairly to want to commit even more evil acts in the future. The desire to hurt others grows within them as their heart hardens and as a result this urge to be cruel – intensifies, those who are contaminated gradually move more and more into a darker place because “evil begets evil.” People become what they think and what they do.
On the other hand, persons who are determined to do well for others and who attempt to put love into the world, only increase their ability to be loved and supported. Good becomes good and returns to the good doer.
Kickback karma is a real phenomenon, what we send into the world will come back to us. What some people do not understand is that once these spiritual laws are put into motion there is no escape – the consequences of one’s choices remain even if one loses consciousness of them. The law states that the more pleasurable a person’s life becomes the harder the impact of the tragedy that will eventually befall them.
Greed and selfishness are driving negative forces today that are rapidly destroying our world. They corrupt the very nature of what is majestic in a person and leave him or her spiritually vacant and empty inside. Time runs out for everyone who has lost a sense of their spirituality.
It is said that there are two kinds of people –those chasing pleasure and those running from pain. No one gets to escape the pain of regret for the things they cannot fix or change that they have done to hurt or shame another.
